Jamie obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, a Juris Doctor cum laude from Michigan State University, and his Canadian National Accreditation Qualification from the University of Ottawa.
Upon graduation and during his articles he met his great grandfather’s lawyer, Peter Petropoulos, and upon completion of his articles he co founded the firm Petropoulos & Rapos with Peter in 1998.
While the firm started as a general practise it slowly grew into a more focused practise of Estates and Real Estate. Upon Peter’s retirement the practise has expanded to include more support staff and the complement of a paralegal.
Jamie is married and has a son and a daughter. His kids are very active in sports so at this stage of life most of his time is spent at work or driving his kids to sporting events. He has recently discovered that mindfulness can work for lawyers just as well as it works for Hockey Dads stuck in traffic.
